[News Report]
May. 26th, 2009 06:03 pm...in other news, there are reports of discontent coming in from sources both anonymous and named within the NPA, particularly the division dedicated to combating Kira.
The NPA has released the following statement in response:
[cut to interview with a young man, apparently an officer]
Officer: I don't mean to shed a bad light on my division, but it seems unfair that so many officers have died for speaking out against Kira while the lead investigator on the case, L, remains in private and out of reach. Immune to danger. We have families, and lives. We shouldn't be forced to take such risks alone.
[cut to another officer]
I intend to resign tomorrow morning.
The NPA has released the following statement in response:
While we understand and sympathize with the concerns of our officers, we have no control over the actions of L. Should problems continue to arise, we will consider severing our relationship with him. However, at this time, we consider his assistance to be crucial.
